The Slogan Coding competition has been launched by the Chief Election Office, Goa in coordination with Project Management Unit, DTE which manages the Coding and Robotics Education in Schools in Goa scheme, Directorate of Education and the State Council for Educational Research and Training (SCERT), Government of Goa, to create awareness about Voter Rights and Duties (Ethical Voting).
The competition’s goal is to provide students an opportunity to learn and share about the Voter Rights and duties in a creative manner.

Individual/ TeamThe students already under the CARES scheme will be provided login ID and Password by respective Computer Teacher to submit the project on web portal

For the students outside the scheme, kindly register to participate in the and submit your entry.

General Guidelines
1. The slogan can be completely made by you or you could take help from the given list of slogans but the self derived slogans will carry more weightage.
2. Should be apolitical.
3. The competition is meant for students upto age 17 years.
4. All the students can take part to showcase their skills and talent.
5. Students can participate as an individual or a team.
6. One can submit only ONE project per student/team.
7. It is COMPULSORY to make the project using any CODING ENVIRONMENT.
8. The judge’s decision would be final.
9. The Chief Election Commissioner reserves the right to cancel or reframe the rules of the contest  

Evaluation Process
Before you do anything further, make sure your project follows the contest criteria.

  • Your project should centre around the topic/theme given. 
  • Scratch/PictoBlox/ Any Coding Environment to be used to create your project.

What Do You Get?
All participants will be provided with participation certificates. The winning individual/team in each group will be awarded winner certificates, cash prizes  and felicitated during the National Voters Day. All in all, it’s an exciting opportunity for kids to not only learn to code but also become responsible humans and contribute to making the world a better place for the generations to come!

The Slogan Coding competition received 816 entries from 198 schools all over the state. These are the winners:


1st Place: Master. Daksh Deepak Naik from Class X studying in A. J. De Almeida High School, Ponda created the slogan using HTML and CSS. ₹5000


2nd Place: Master. Bhavya Suryakant Rao from Class VI studying in Shree Ram Vidya Mandir, Bardez created the slogan using Scratch Programming. ₹3000


3rd Place: Miss. Trusha Gurudas Naik from Class IX studying in Fatima Convent High School, Margao created the slogan using Scratch Programming. ₹2000
